As part of our training curriculum, dedicated Syntel Universities are in place to to ensure our teams have full and deep understanding of your business, in addition to your technologies. These Universities combine online learning, portals, and classroom learning to groom our associates to be experts in your business
- Banking & Financial Services University - Offers courses developed by our consultants and subject matter experts in Banking, Capital Markets, Payments, and Auto Finance. Three levels of training are delivered including IT in Investment Operations (ITIO) certification through UK's Securities & Investment Institute.
- Healthcare University - Offers courses in payer, provider, and life sciences business areas with four levels of certification that participants can achieve. Some courses have been developed in partnership with Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences & Center for Development of Advanced Computing. Participants can also obtain HL7, BPA, and CDA certifications through additional coursework.
- Insurance University - Offers courses in Auto, Home, Life, 401K, Surety, and Workers Comp. Through a partnership with LOMA, participants can pursue certifications in various areas.
Many other programs are conducted to ensure all Syntellers have well-rounded skill sets. These include:
- ISMS - A comprehensive course covering information security management systems ranging from protection schemes, management of events/incidents to risk assessment and business continuity plan.
- Quality Management Training - A comprehensive study of Quality Management strategies, processes and tools.
- Project Management - As a Registered Education Provider for PMI, we provide modular training on PMBOK for Project Managers to enable them to become certified PMP. In addition, we have formed an alliance with International Institute of leaning (IIL) for the PMP training offered via on line courses exclusively for Syntel employees.
- Technical Training - In addition to internally developed courses, Syntel is partnered with iCarnegie for skill certifications in computer programming and software system development.
- Induction Training - Employees hired from campus recruiting programs go through a rigorous eight-week induction training program which includes training in soft skills (communication and team skills), technical skills in one technology area, software engineering practices and Syntel’s QA practices and tools.
